​The Story​

 

Archohm brought Capture And Motion in to document a construction-in-progress project in Odisha, a new campus being built for the Odisha Mining Corporation Limited, designed to house every facility its employees and workers would need in one place. Administrative buildings, staff quarters, a school, a hospital, shopping, and recreational spaces, an entire self-contained campus, still under construction, spread across multiple distinct buildings with entirely different use cases.

The project ran 3-4 days, with the team travelling from Delhi to Bhubaneswar alongside the Archohm team to be on-site for the shoot. Coverage moved across the multiple buildings on the site day by day, capturing both ground-level detail and aerial perspective of the campus as it came together.

The OMC site itself was a restricted zone for drone flying, but Archohm handled the permissions in advance, and the aerial coverage went ahead without issue. As with several other Capture And Motion projects, this was a solo shoot, the scope of the work didn't call for an additional crew member, and one person was enough to cover it properly.

Deliverables came as edited, colour-corrected photographs alongside unstitched video footage, giving Archohm material ready to work with directly, rather than a single locked final edit.

A Whole Campus, Captured in Progress - Administrative, residential, educational, medical, and recreational buildings, all documented as one connected construction story.

Restricted Airspace, No Compromise - Drone restrictions on-site were resolved through proper permissions, not by dropping the aerial perspective from the project.

Cross-State, On Schedule - A multi-day shoot in Odisha, coordinated alongside the Archohm team from planning through delivery.

Solo Execution, Full Scope - One person covering multiple buildings, ground and air, across the full shoot window.
